HILDA UND COMPANY

Hilda und Co. is a subset of Anonymous Ensemble composed of Jessica Weinstein (Hilda), Eamonn Farrell (Ludwig), and Liz Davito (Gretel).

The Brooklyn-based Anonymous Ensemble (AnEn) is the new generation of Stage and Screen. At the nexus of film and theater, AnEn’s work draws from and then propels itself beyond both genres. AnEn first became known as creators of the episodic, multimedia, rock spectacle called The Best which played in theaters, rock venues and warehouses throughout New York City and beyond from 2003 to 2008. In 2006, The Best was presented in the Brisbane International Theatre Festival in Australia and as an interactive video installation in The Neuropolis Festival in Berlin, Germany.  AnEn achieved further international acclaim with their wildly interactive “dance party” called Wanderlust, which premiered in the Ice Factory Festival at the Ohio Theater in 2007, and then took the Edinburgh Fringe in 2008 and garnered a Total Theatre Award nomination in “Experimentation and Innovation.”  In 2009, Wanderlust toured the UK with appearances in the Create Festival at the Arcola Theater, the Latitude Festival and a critically acclaimed London Premiere at Jacksons Lane Theater.  In 2010, AnEn went to Greece to develop their live, bilingual “Rebetiko/Rock Doc” called The Return which premiered the following year at the Roes Theatre in Athens. That same year, AnEn presented a new opera with the National Opera of Greece called The Turing Opera. In 2012, AnEn developed LIEBE LOVE AMOUR! at HERE Arts Center and premiered the show at the New Ohio Theater in New York City and is currently touring the production in the United States and is planning a UK tour in 2013.
